My writing and editing experience spans radio, print news, television, online outlets, business and professional writing services and book publishing. Completing a dual major in journalism and children's literature at Deakin University, from which I graduated with distinctions, set me firmly on the path to work in the children's publishing industry, where I have held senior in-house positions in both editing and publicity and now offer these services on a freelance basis. I've worked on a variety of projects from board books to picture books, junior fiction and middle grade to young adult publications. I'm competent across all areas of book creation from concept to creative consultation, editorial to author care and can help bring your next project to life on brand, on time and on budget. In 2022 I was shortlised for an ABIA award as a Rising Star of Australian Publishing and have worked extensively in schools as well as library curation and management. My curiosity has led me around many corners of the publishing industry, though I am always keen to tackle the next challenge.
