AUTHOR VISITS WITH CRYSTAL: Crystal Corocher is an author, poet and publishing professional based in Melbourne, Australia. In 2022 Crystal was shortlisted for an ABIA Award as a Rising Star of Australian Publishing for her work in the children’s publishing industry and dedication to student reading engagement. Crystal is an Australia Reads Ambassador author and is passionate about diversity in children’s literature. Taking time to discuss the needs of your students and goals for the session, Crystal will tailor an enrichment visit that is both dynamic and memorable; from igniting passion in your most disengaged students to development of gifted writers and thought-provoking student led Q&A sessions – covering all areas of creative writing, publishing and media. Crystal brings a wealth of knowledge to your classroom as an author and journalist who has written and edited her way across print-news, radio, television news and online as well as a background in literacy education, library management and the exciting world of working with some of Australia’s brightest authors as a consulting editor and mentor.
